Our Guruparamparas

Aarsha Vidya Samajam draws lineage from three major Guru Paramparas

AATREYA PARAMPARA

The historically-renowned Atri Parampara is the most authoritative, authentic, and major Aarsha Guru Parampara in Bharat. Sri Sankara Gurudev is the main source of this course in this Athri Paramparya. The Guru Parampara which was promoted widely through the children of the Atri Maharshi and his wife Anasooya; Aatreya Durvasa, Dattatreya, and Somatreya is known as Athreya Parampara. The Natha Yogis, Siddhars of Tamil Nadu, and major Siddhas of Kashmiri Saivism belong to this Parampara.

Aacharya ji also had the good fortune to be associated with several Aarsha Guru Paramparas under the instruction and blessings of Sri Sankara Gurudev. One of them is the Kriya Yoga Parampara. Maha Yogis such as Sri Mahavatar Babaji, Sri Lahiri Mahasaya ji, Sri Yukteshwar Giri Maharaj ji, Sri Paramahansa Yogananda ji and various Kriya Yoga Paramparas. Mahavatar Babaji is a Maha Siddha who is living even today. Those who have the book “Autobiography of a Yogi” can understand his greatness.

KRIYA YOGA PARAMPARA

HIMALAYAN SIDDHA PARAMPARA

The third is a great Guru Parampara called Siddhashram Guru Parampara. Aacharya ji was able to imbibe and systematically practice various sciences, secrets of Yoga and Tantra, from Sri Nikhileshwarananda Paramahansa ji (attained Samadhi in the year 2008) in Jodhpur, Rajasthan who is an authoritative voice of that Guru Parampara. He was a Maha Yogi who had incarnated to revive the long-forgotten ancient knowledge and sciences. MK Ramachandran has written about his greatness in his Kailasa Yatra series. But the truth is that, these descriptions haven’t touched even the tiniest bit of his glory. There is an abode of the Mahrishis in the Himalayas, known as Siddhashram. Nikhileshwarananda Paramahansa was a Siddha who was sent for a great revival from that mysterious Ashram which is not normally visible to the naked eye. Aacharya ji had the good fortune to receive special initiations such as Sakthipaath Deeksha, and learn Para Vidyas such as Sanathana Dharma, Yoga Vidya, Tantra Vidya, Siddhashram Kriya Yoga and certain Apara Vidyas such as Mantra-Tantra-Yantra Vijnan, Sammohan Vijnan, Prana Vidya etc.
